Year 2 students are in the final year of Stage 1. They build on literacy and numeracy skills through engaging in a variety of differentiated tasks in all key learning areas. In literacy, the curriculum engages students with listening, reading, viewing, speaking and writing for different purposes and contexts, in English, as well as science, history and geography.
In numeracy, students develop understanding and fluency in mathematics through inquiry, exploring and connecting mathematical concepts, choosing and applying problem-solving skills.
